American Fork police are looking for a missing woman who they believe could be in danger. Kylee Marie Hreinson, 30, was last seen in American Fork on Jan. 3, and police believe she is now in the Salt Lake City area.
Hreinson is a white woman with long, dark hair and brown eyes. She is 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs about 130 pounds, and was last seen wearing dark clothing. Her ears are pierced and she has a small loop high on her right ear.
In a statement, the American Fork Police Department said Hreinson left a family member’s house on Jan. 3 and told family she would be staying with a friend in “Salt Lake.” Family members spoke to Hreinson via a messaging app on Sunday, Jan. 10, and police said she appeared to be under duress and had bruises on her face. According to the statement, Hreinson told her family she would be back that evening, but has not returned.
Police said Hreinson has been associated with a man named Chad Lapniewski, who has a blue 2018 Kia Forte. She also may be with an unidentified white man who was last seen in the area of 1300 East and 600 South in Salt Lake City wearing multiple backpacks and a University of Utah hat.
Police ask anyone with information about Hreinson to contact Detective Garcia at 801-763-3020, or call Central Utah 911 Dispatch at 801-794-3970 after 6 p.m.
