Facebook live has made it very easy for video games to be broadcasted. However, Facebook live is not only for vlogging or for funny videos.

With the huge number of people on Facebook, you can go live as far as you have an account. You can also use any streaming app of your choice to create stunning broadcasts that hundreds of users can access.

In order to be able to stream video games on Facebook, you will need to know how to use the streaming app such as XSplit and OBS.

Now, when it comes to game broadcasting, ‘Twitch’ is first stop and it is the best because it allows you to broadcast your game play live, save the stream on your website, share it on social networks and it even has a chat room for your viewers.

So, for all the methods used in Facebook gaming live stream, you need to register for a ‘Twitch’ account.

Furthermore, to stream from a personal computer (PC), you need to have a special broadcasting software. In twitch, you can find several selections.

Earlier, I mentioned XSplit and OBS (Open Broadcaster software).

XSplit is very easy to use, but it requires a monthly subscription for some of its more advanced features lol customer logos and metadata.

OBS is free but a little more complicated than XSplit and I’d ask powerful tool.

Step 2:- start XSplit and log in to your Twitch account.

Step 3:- open the game you would look to stream.

Step 4:- press ctrl-tab to open the XSplit interface.

Step 5:- click broadcast to be streaming.

—How to use OBS

OBS does not support logging in to Twitch directly, so after installing OBS, you need to log in to Twitch first and obtain a “stream key.” This key changes periodically, meaning you may need to update it each time you stream with OBS. After all, these, follow these steps:

Step 1:- In OBS, click the settings button in the lower right corner.

Step 2:- Select “Broadcast settings” in the left-hand pane of the page.

Step 3:- Next to streaming services, select Twitch.

Step 4:- Next to “play path/stream key,” enter the key you acquired from Twitch dashboard.

Step 5:- If you set up OBS for the first time, you may be required to change some of the video settings, this depends on your set up.

If any of these comes up, fix it before going to the next step.
